Aims

The test program has two main aims which are broken into topics

Quality Topics

  • Stability: How stable is the app?
  • Device Integration: How well do the camera, gallery, files work for picking images?
  • Device Integration: How well does sharing to email, text, or files work?
  • Performance: Is the app fast enough for an enjoyable experience?

Acceptance Topics

  • Fun: Is the app enjoyable to use and nice to look at?
  • Fun: Are the puzzle mini-games fun to play?
  • Ease of Use: Is sending and receiving phuzzles easy?
  • Ease of Use: Is the app easy to get around?
  • Intuitive: Do the badges and levels make sense?
  • Intuitive: Is the daily multiplier useful and worth your time?

Feedback

As part of the test program we would like you to send feedback to the Phuzzlings team every week or so. We would also like you to send tech logs to use when the app crashes or behaves oddly.

Send Feedback

To send feedback to the Phuzzlings team:

  • Tap on the service bell.
  • Tap on ‘Help’
  • Tap on ‘Send Feedback’
  • Make choices for the 6 questions
  • Tap on ‘Send Feedback’
  • Use your email app to send the tech logs to the Phuzzlings team

Send Tech Logs

This is what to do if the app crashes or weird things happen. Crashes happen most often when importing an image, sharing a phuzzle, exporting an image or changing locations in the app. To send tech logs to the Phuzzlings team:

  • Restart the app.
  • Tap on the service bell.
  • Tap on ‘Help’
  • Tap on ‘Tech Logs’
  • If you want to, read the Crash Log and the Current Log
  • Tap on ‘Submit Logs’
  • Use your email app to send the tech logs to the Phuzzlings team

About the tech logs:

The tech logs are text files that tells the Phuzzlings team the actions and activities you’ve done the app. They are called “reproduction logs” because they help the Phuzzlings team to try to reproduce an error that happened on your device.

The Current Log: This lists the more recent things you’ve done in the app up to the current time. It is never stored on your device. You can send it to the Phuzzlings Team if the app is behaving oddly but has not crashed.

The Crash Log: This lists what you did before the app crashed. It is stored on your phone so that it is available to send to Phuzzlings Team. It is a very small file (1-3k).

The Tech Logs:

  • Do not contain any personal information
  • Do not contain any images you have used
  • Do not contain the name or contact information of anyone you have shared anything with, or received a Phuzzle from.
